Here's how it works: Book your reservation on Dollar.com. Within 24 hours, if you find a better Dollar rate on any other website, simply submit a claim here. There's no need to book the better rate, because once confirmed, we're going to give you that rate anyway plus discount it by 10%. As with all great things, certain terms & conditions may apply.

A reservation must be made at least 72 hours in advance of your rental by going direct to Dollar.com and booking the lowest available rate for that car type. Within 24 hours of the booking, should a lower published Dollar rate be found on a site other than Dollar.com, a completed claim form, available here on Dollar.com, must be electronically submitted. To qualify, the same comparison rate must have been found using the same pick-up location, reservation dates and car type. The rate differential will be based on the base rate of the vehicle, and will not include taxes, fuel, surcharges or any other ancillary charges. Only daily, weekend, and weekly rentals are available for Best Rate Guarantee, other rental lengths are excluded.

We will verify the comparison rental car rate within 48 hours of receiving your claim and notify you of the results. If the evidence provided is insufficient to verify the claim, we will contact you to provide us with additional evidence as necessary. If additional evidence is required, it must be provided in a timely manner or your claim may not be verified before your rental.  Because of this verification process, you must book at least 72 hours in advance.

To qualify, the same comparison rate must have been found using the same pick-up and return locations, reservation dates and times, and rental car type for vehicle pick up before 1/31/24 within 24 hours of your booking on Dollar.com. The following additional exclusions apply:

•         Rates from other car rental companies.

•         Rates obtained through use of discounts, coupons, upgrade offers, pre-negotiated (e.g. group, government, corporate, tour,   insurance replacement rental) or similar rates.

•         Car rental components of inclusive or package rates. 

•         Rates that may be found on auction or wholesale websites or sites which do not display the name of the car rental company until after purchase.

•         Pre-paid, discounted rates found outside of Dollar.com cannot be compared to non-pre-paid (“pay later”) rates obtained from Dollar.com.

Remember, rates change often. If a lower rate is later found on Dollar.com, the new rate will be honored, but the 10% discount will not apply.

Terms & Conditions: Applies to rentals at participating locations in the United States and Canada. A reservation must be made at least 72 hours in advance of your rental by going direct to Dollar.com and booking the lowest available rate for that rental car type. You must also provide us with evidence of the source of the rate on the claim form, to include but not be limited to: (i) rental and return date and time; (ii) pick-up and return location (must be same location); (iii) vehicle type; (iv) lower fare amount; and (v) web address (URL) to the source’s website in the Questions/Comments area. From the evidence provided, we must be able to verify the lower online published rate is not available at Dollar.com. We will verify the comparison rental car rate within 48 hours of receiving your claim and notify you of the results. If the evidence provided is insufficient to verify the claim, we will contact you to provide us with additional evidence as necessary. If additional evidence is required, it must be provided in a timely manner or your claim may not be verified before your rental.

You shall be limited to six (6) Best Available Rate Guarantee claims per calendar year. Any modifications, changes or cancellations made to an existing booking that has an associated Best Available Rate Guarantee claim will result in voiding of the claim.

Dollar reserves the right to modify the Best Available Rate Guarantee terms or to restrict its availability to any person, at any time, for any or no reason, and without prior notice or liability. Dollar reserves the right to deny or reject a claim as a result of a Dollar or third-party printing, technical, or other error, or where such claim is, in our sole discretion, made fraudulently or in bad faith. The failure by Dollar to enforce any term or condition shall not constitute a waiver of that or any other term or condition.
