AAdvantage^® members will earn 50 AAdvantage^® base miles per rental day at participating locations, limited to 28 days.

To receive your miles, include your AAdvantage^® number in your reservation when booking online, or provide your AAdvantage^® number at time of rental.

Industry discount rates, tour rates, and complimentary rentals do not qualify for frequent flyer miles.

Effective 1/1/2021, for rentals in the U.S., Puerto Rico, and Canada when the renter chooses to receive miles in the American Airlines AAdvantage^® program the Frequent Flyer Surcharge will be calculated based on the Federal Excise Tax expense incurred by Dollar when it purchases miles from American Airlines. Under the Tax Relief Act of 1997, all companies that purchase Frequent Flyer miles from airlines must pay a 7.5% Excise Tax on the cost of those miles (on average, 6 cents per day).

American Airlines reserves the right to change AAdvantage^® program rules, regulations, travel awards and special offers at any time without notice, and to end the AAdvantage^® program with six months notice. Any such changes may affect your ability to use the awards or mileage credits that you have accumulated.
