No Smoking Policy

Dollar has a strict no smoking policy

If evidence of smoking is present in the vehicle, customers will incur a Smoke Cleaning Fee of $400 and may be placed on our Do Not Rent List.

If smoking evidence is found, the Vehicle will be treated with our Freshwave product and deodorized with a specially developed electronic oxidation device, to eliminate the smoke/e-Cigarette odor. De-smoking requires the vehicle to be taken out of service for up to 24 hours, therefore a Smoke Cleaning Fee of $400 will apply when evidence of smoking is present.

Pet Policy

Dollar accepts pets in our rental vehicles with no up-front fee and with no advanced notice needed! We want you to be able to enjoy the open road with your furry friend, that’s why Dollar Car Rental is the pet-friendliest way to travel when taking a road trip with your pet!

To be respectful of future renters, please keep in mind there may be a cleaning fee assessed at the end of the rental if the rental vehicle is not returned in clean condition. That means excessive pet hair, interior/exterior damage or soiling could result in a $50-$250 cleaning charge depending on the severity and additional time needed to clean the vehicle. To avoid this fee, we recommend keeping your pet either contained in a crate/kennel or packing a car seat cover or blanket to prevent issues.
